Is this thing still on?

Wow, how busy can one gal be? Extremely!

Bella is 10 months old now, almost 11. She's been walking since 9 months and it's a good thing too because baby #2 will be here on October.

Running ones own business is horribly time consuming, especially when you have a full time job too.

The economy sucks, I"m just happy that everyone in my family is still gainfully employed.

I'm now in the process of getting VSA to the point where I can quit the bank and work on it full time. We actually posted a PROFIT last year, amazing.

It's a lot of work and keeps me really busy. I still get in a little warhammer and guitar hero here and there but WOW has been retired.

Um what else, what else...

Does anyone else find the "Gabriel Method" weight loss ads on this site very disconcerting if not downright gross?

That's it. Hope everyone is doing FANTASTICALLY and living life to the fullest. I'm going to try to update more often just bacause, well, I want to :)

OMG I just sent jackets to CSI!

it's no joke. I'm sitting here working away on this new business of mine when i get a phone call. This call was from the gal that runs the costume department for CSI. Yes CSI THE TV SHOW. They're going to be airing some episodes that kill off high school kids and they need varsity jackets. She ordered 8!!!!! I'm thinking this is a joke but it isn't. 8 of my jackets are going to be used as costumes on an upcoming episode of CSI. I am stoked.

Does or did Joel have something to do with that show? I thought he did at one point and time. Does anyone remember?

Anyway...as a shameless plug...if you or anyone you know is looking for a customized varsity jacket PLEASE let me know or visit our website at Varsity Sports Apparel. We've made some HOT ass jackets and can make your jacket dream into a reality.

PLease pass this post along to, well, everyone you know. I need the business! i'm still waiting for one of the RT guys to contact me to create an RT baseball jacket. It would be HOT ;)

Baby Bella is here!

Isabella Anita
Born June 3, 2008 - 8 lbs 8 oz.

Time in the hospital 6:30am. Time baby was born 8:52am. Honestly I pushed 5 times and she was out. Simple as that. If I could be assured that every labor and delivery was going to be that easy I'd have a houseful! She's beautiful and fun and already smiling (either that or gas makes her smile I'm not sure yet :P)

I would upload a photo but I can't seem to do that any more? Can anyone tell me why? I r dumb :P

Anyway - just wanted to announce the news...everyone here is happy, healthy and looking forward to the new baby adventures!

If you want to see pics IM me and I'll get you a link to my family photo site. I'm a little leery of just posting a link to the public you know? Especially pics of my children :)

Need help!

OK - so I know not a lot of folks red my journal anymore but I'm hoping either those that do will spread the word on this or those that do and never comment will actually comment.

OK I need a cool and hip name for a non-profit organization that supports student athletics and arts. We're not talking academics here, just athletics and arts (this includes music and any kind of art - drawing, sculpting, etc)

You see, when I was in HS I witnessed first had the degeneration of my HS's athletics and sports programs due to referendums not passing and an overall lack of state and federal funds. And of course, the first thing a school will do when they lack funds, is to cut critical sports and arts programs. Now don't get me wrong, academics are important, but there are a SLEW of organizations that funnel extra funds to academics but very few that support, what I believe to be, programs that are just as important.

If we don't suport students that are athletic and artistic where are we going to get the next Picasso from? Who will we cheer for in the next Super Bowl or Olympics? It's just sad to me to see these kinds of programs scrapped because folks don't understand how important money for schools is. I won't even go into our government's utter lack of acknowledgement in this arena. I'll get heated...and that's bad.

So, in conjunction with my budding online business Varsity Sports Apparel I want to create a sister company that is non-profit and solicits donations in turn to funnel money back to schools for much needed art supplies, uniforms, tournament fees, etc...it's endless really. I want to allow educators and coaches to submit a wish to be granted by this organization.

Say a high school wants to put on a musical but they dont' have the funds for a director? That's where this organization would come in. We could help not only fund the project, but find a suitable local theatre director to either donate their time or do the job for a nominal fee as a donation.

This is just one example. And yes, I know there are other organizations that do this kind of work but not ONLY in the area of arts and athletics.

So anyway, I need a name. Something hip and fun and cool. Something that is easy to remember and available form a URL standpont :)

Anyone with an idea? Post here!

OMG not dead

Just big as a house. I posted a quick preg photo in my gallery so you can see the expanding me. This was from Valentines day and let me tell you that's NOTHING compared to the baby bump I have now. But it's all for a good cause right? I just can't wait to meet her - what a wild thing she'll be if she's anything like me. My husband is already bracing himself for another headstrong tom-boy gamer chick in this house :)

I'm also surprised at the size of my tattoo!

it's a girl...well it will be

20 week ultrasound shows I'm cooking a happy healthy girl. Bring on the PINK! Not really, actually I'm not a girly, girl myself so I find the thought of a room full of pink nauseating. Bring on the other colors NOT pink :) Anyway, I'm due in June - right around father's day. If anyone has cool color suggestions bring them on. I've got a white room ripe for decoratin'.

New business venture open!

Varsity Sports Apparel - check it out!

OK - so many of us are past HS but I am able to do any kind of custom jacket based on the letter jacket style that you might want. Want a gamer jacket to pimp your awesomeness? Do it up, I can help you design it. Want a RT jacket with their logo embroidered on the back and RVB patches on it? I can do that too. What about a World of Warcraft jacket with your guild name on it and all the other neat stuff you can dream up? I'm feeling you. Want a hip-hop style letter jacket of your very own like all the rappers are wearing? Not a problem. I've got the vendors an the connections to make it happen. Some copyright restrictions will apply depending on what you want to do but really, the sky is the limit.

These are great for pimping your company or business (how about a Luke McKay jacket or a Jeskid Productions one? That would be hotness!)

If you are a High School student and are looking for a very affordable, high quality letter jacket made by a fellow gaming freak like you just let me know :)

Anyway, take a look and give me some feedback. The website is not quite finished but will be in the next week (all the standard chenille patches we offer are not yet listed). If your interested in getting something created for you or a friend or as a gift to Jeskid (shameless pimpage there) please just e-mail me or send me a IM here. Thanks y'all!

A long hard year with a great finish

So -

After 2 miscarriages this year ( 1 in January and 1 on my birthday in June), a lot of testing, blood work and other sundry items I'm happy to say that I am officially 3 months pregnant and in the clear :) Baby is due in June - we can't wait and are absolutely thrilled. This just goes to show you that a little patience, and prayer, can go a long way!
