An interesting film made in the fashion of a British Documentary, it tells about the United States of America, had the confederates won the war. As creative and funny as this films potential was, I found it to be more on the offensive and appalling side. If you have seen this film, please share your feelings, insight, and any twists your mind spins on it.
If you have not seen it, you can see it on "cable on demand" for free, or rent it at your local retailer. Be prepared for one of the most insightfully insulting films ever created. Think of it as South Park, taken 10 steps too far.
You may hate it, you may love it, but the film exists. To some it is art, while others hear it as finger nails on a chalkboard...

Not all early Americans were British, there were Spanish, Portugese and French settlers in the early days and even the native Americans came over from Russia.

In reply to SpiceyCarpet, #13: true and thats pretty much been happening right after john adams got elected. the only good president and i mean REALLY good president was washington and during the whiskey rebellion he put himself in charge and marched the army to fight, not some damn politician general.
it was a funny film but remember it's a british mock-umentary and is meant only in a funny and insightful way as to what exactally would have happened if the south won the civil war. plus there were a lot of...historical flaws in that movie consiring the south winnings, one the french and English had allyed with the United States and when the US said that this was a domestic problem and told both not to get involved they both agreed, the idea of freedom is a bit off for both England and France to join the south, it is the height of each empire at the time and to help the south fight for "freedom" would have sent an uproar through all conqured peoples, England didn't need southern cotton when the south threatened to stop shipment the English went to Egypt to get it and because of this the south had less men and could not fight a long term war with the north and was doomed to surrender to General Shermans total wars tatics and the willingness of Lincoln and the north. Funny moive, a bit offensive, but that's what the BBC was aiming for.

I'm glad we didn't so I wasn't subject to all the inbreeding and bad teeth and shitty food and ugly people, but I'm glad you gave your 2 cents!
You're right, there's no inbreeding in the US, in fact the Southern states aren't known for it at all and you are also the height of good cuisine being the country that brought the world McDonalds and KFC.
