I have had a quick scan of the gaming forum and haven't seen this posted as of yet, Apologies to Moderators if it already has been.....
Bungie finally announced the release date for the beta and I quote
"The Halo 3 Multiplayer Beta will go live on May 16th at 12:00 AM PDT and run through June 6 th at 11:59 PM PDT. That means that folks who purchased specially marked copies of Crackdown, or won a spot in the Beta through the “Rule of Three” or other regional promotions, will be able to log into their Xbox Live Gold accounts, download and play the Halo 3 Multiplayer Beta and enjoy an early peek at the multiplayer aspect of the game."

Yeah, not to be a dick but, there's a thread at the top of the page, you know, that says "Halo 3". I made a thread about getting into the beta, and it got locked
Every forum thread I make, it's either been done already, in the wrong place or locked within 30 seconds.... I tried, I just tend not to bother with the forum...
This forum is an odd forum, most of the ideas have already been done, and the good ones have 1000's of post. I like posting here, but when it comes to making threads is brutal.
