Red vs Blue is coming to Toronto for their first official screening of all 3 seasons, right on the heels of the Season 3 DVD debut! The show will be held on Saturday, July 9th from 1-9pm and admission is $10 if you pre-purchase your ticket and $12 if you buy at the door.

The event will be held at Ryerson University in the Centre for Computing and Engineering room ENG103, 245 Church St. The doors will be open at 12:30pm and we will start the show at 1pm. We're showing all 3 seasons and some PSA's. We'll also be giving out prizes through draws and trivia games! Also, by going to our show you'll receive discount coupons for stores in the downtown area.

We have a great MC lined up and don't forget about the Q&A session with Gus and Burnie themselves! It's their first trip up to Canada EVER so we want to make it a memorable one for them!

There is limited seating so get your tickets soon! You don't want to miss out on this opportunity to meet RvB forum members from near and far and for your chance to spend time with Gus & Burnie!

We'll all be getting together at a bar to celebrate the night before on Friday, July 8th. Gus and Burnie will be there too and will probably show up around 11pm or midnight. For anyone that would like to buy these guys a drink we'll be at Mick E. Fynn's on Friday night which is just east of Carlton & Yonge. Take the subway to College station and walk east. It's on the south side of the street just past the Golden Griddle. If you're under 19, there's a chance you'll get carded so attend at your own risk.

Please visit our website for more details: www.freewebs.com/rvbto
If you have any questions send e-mail to: rvbto@yahoo.ca

We want to see you all there! Tell your friends and together we can make this an RvB event to remember!

It's official - on Saturday, February 26 (this upcoming saturday), Red vs Blue will be shown to a large audience in Toronto. Admission will be $10 at the door:

The event will be taking place at The Hive, on the second floor of the Stephen E. Quinlan (SEQ) building on the campus of York University. For those who attend York U, it's the Seneca College building. The address of the building is 70 The Pond Rd. Here's a map. To get there by car, find the intersection of Keele and Steeles and go south. The second traffic light is The Pond Rd. Turn right there. You will come upon a traffic light on The Pond Rd., and on the NW corner of that intersection will be the SEQ building. It has lots of panes of glass on the front, and interesting architecture. At the north end of the building is the cafeteria, and directly above the cafeteria is The Hive.

There are parking lots dotted all over the campus. If you continue down The Pond Rd. you'll come across a pay-by-hour lot on the left. The gates go up at 10:30pm, so if you stay for all that time you should be able to get out for free. If they keep the gates down for some reason, though, the daily max is something like $15.00. If you don't want to risk all that, you can continue along the road and hang a left, and on the right will be a pay-for-the-day lot which is something like $8.00 for the day (don't quote me on that). If you turn right at the light instead of going straight, you'll see parking lots on either side of you all around the campus. Some are pay lots, some are permit-only.

If you want to park for free guaranteed, then as you're coming down from Steeles and Keele you turn left at the first traffic light. Keep driving down that road, and on the other side of the stop sign you'll see a stretch of road on which you can park legally. That's where I'll be. It's about a ten minute walk from the venue, but no dollars is a good price for parking in Toronto. To get to The Hive from there, you walk back toward and past Keele and turn left as you reach the bus loop. You'll walk past a building under construction on the right, and once you pass it you'll be staring at the SEQ building from its ugly backside. Hang a right and you'll be able to enter right at the cafeteria.

The doors will open at 2:00pm. The bar will be open to serve non-alcoholic beverages, and we have the place reserved until 10:00pm. Both seasons of Red vs Blue will be shown on DVD, and if someone decides to burn season 3 thus far to DVD then we can watch that too. There will probably be a Q&A period with the Rooster Teeth lads, and everyone is sure to have a good time.

So go tell your friends, take a road trip, hijack a plane, do whatever it takes to be here for this event. Seating is limited, and will be provided on a first come, first served basis. If we run out of chairs, we'll open up standing room. If we run out of standing room, we'll hire a midget to juggle chainsaws or something, I don't know. The point is you need to be at The Hive on Saturday at 2:00pm, to be with your fellow Red vs Blue-ites and meet the staff.

I'll see you there.
